Students mark Olympic Day in nation’s capital

This was followed by a game.The goal of Olympic Day focused on the three pillars of Move, Learn and Discover.This is part of a week-long program that started this Monday. It was organised by the PNG Olympic Committee.Olympic Week started with visits to schools with inspirational talks from PNG men’s hockey team captain, Milton Kisapai, PNG powerlifting world record holder, Linda Pulsan and former PNG Barramundis captain, Chris Amini.The overall aim of this week is to instil in students the Olympic values of Respect, Friendship and Excellence, which can be applied to life.Olympic Week will end tomorrow with visits to different communities.last_img
