Lenovo and Motorola owners at risk of fraud after details leaked online

Hundreds of thousands of full names, addresses, credit card details and phone numbers from customers in the UK, Europe and the US were published by hackers who claimed they had cracked into the company’s database on New Year’s Eve.  The Telegraph has contacted some of the names included in a sample the hackers shared to alert customers that their information is at risk. One customer said they bought a Lenovo laptop “years ago”.  Britons who have bought Lenovo laptops or Motorola smartphones are at risk of fraud after customer credit card and personal information was leaked online.
