More Redmi K20 live photos leak: Notch-less display, USB-C port and headphone jack confirmed

first_imgIt’s only a matter of a few hours before the Redmi K20 is made public. The highly-anticipated smartphone from Xiaomi is expected to be the gamechanger in the affordable smartphone segment, especially with a flagship-grade Snapdragon 855 chipset, 48-megapixel cameras, a notch-less display and some more. However, the world of leaks has made the Redmi K20 peek for one last time before it comes out of the curtain.A fresh set of Redmi K20 leaks have surfaced on the web, showing the phone from those we haven’t seen the phone much. The photos show the Redmi K20 from multiple angles flaunting its pop-up selfie camera and its ports all around the phone. The unit that has been shown in the photos is possibly the one with the fancy red gradient finish. Let’s go through the leaked images one at a time. The first one shows off the pop-up selfie camera with the camera interface opened. The pop-up mechanism also flaunts a similar gradient as seen on the back of the device in the leaked renders. Previous leaks have confirmed the front camera to sport a 20-megapixel camera. The camera interface is also quite similar to the ones we have seen in recently launched Xiaomi phones running MIUI.The Redmi K20 will have a 6.3-inch fullscreen AMOLED display with no notch. The leaked images show quite slim bezels all around and even the chin is quite narrow. If the Redmi K20 is supposed to be priced around Rs 20,000 in India, then the display should provide for a very good viewing experience. The Redmi K20 will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor but it isn’t visible here.advertisement For those concerned with the number of connectivity options, here’s good news – the Redmi K20 will sport a 3.5mm headphone jack. This could make one of the few flagship smartphones in 2019 to sport a headphone jack after the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Asus ZenFone 6. A USB-C port is there for charging the battery and data transfer. For all its worth, the Redmi K20 could be a crucial smartphone for the Indian market this year after last year’s highly successful Poco F1. The Redmi K20 is expected to bring flagship-grade performance and premium design at prices starting under Rs 25,000.last_img read more
